Continued Professional Development - CPD

Continuing professional development (CPD) is the means by which people maintain their knowledge and skills related to their professional lives. CPD obligations are common to most professions CPD is a structured approach to learning to help ensure competence to practice, taking in knowledge, skills and practical experience.   
 

CFEs must obtain a minimum of 20 hours of CPDs every 12 months and pay annual membership dues to stay current in their profession. CFEs are required to certify CPD compliance by the end of their anniversary month either (1) online or (2) by calling a Member Services Representative. A CFE’s anniversary month is the month membership is renewed each year.
